With nearly 20 years of experience in PR, marketing, and brand advertising, Justine has worked with top consumer brands (there’s even photo evidence of her dressed as a McDonald’s Shamrock Shake!) to help bring their branding, messaging, and experiences to life. As a result, Justine cultivated a deep passion for all things swag, gifting, and branding along the way. Her knack for uncovering the latest and greatest products has become nothing short of a professional superpower.
Justine’s love of gifting comes naturally and is rooted in her upbringing. Her mother always stressed the importance of “never showing up empty-handed” (or, as her mom put it, “never have your hands dragging”). This simple philosophy planted the seeds for Justine’s lifelong passion for thoughtful giving.
In 2023, Justine founded The Gift Scouts to fill a gap she noticed in the gifting world. In a world with services like Instacart for groceries, Uber Eats for food delivery, and BarkBox for pets, there was no go-to solution for gifting—a task that often leaves people feeling overwhelmed. As a full-time working mom, Justine understands how time-consuming it can be to brainstorm, source, and wrap gifts. She created The Gift Scouts to help people reclaim their time while bringing joy back to the gifting process.
The Gift Scouts launched softly in November 2023 with “tied-with-a-bow, ready-to-go” Thanksgiving mini gifts. Today, it has evolved into a full-service Gift Concierge small business, helping individuals and businesses curate thoughtful, personalized gifts for any occasion. Whether clients need a little guidance, struggle with gift ideas, or simply don’t have the time, Justine is there to help.
Justine’s ultimate goal is to spread the joy of gifting—just as she experiences it—with everyone who partners with The Gift Scouts.
